In UP’s Bhadohi district, the police on Friday busted a gang running an illegal bank. So far three accused have been arrested in the case. The SIT has been constituted on the instructions of the SP. The accused arrested on Saturday used to call himself a retired officer of a reputed bank. All the accused used to impress people with private gunners and luxury vehicles.
Cyber Cell, Crime Branch and Gyanpur Kotwali police on Friday busted the illegal bank gang and arrested two accused. SIT has been formed on the instructions of SP in the case. On Saturday, the police also arrested Ramesh Jaiswal, resident of Sector No. 9, Obra, Sonbhadra.
Used to drive in luxury vehicles with private gunners
Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Bharti said that the accused used to mislead people by calling himself a retired manager of SBI. Presently working as the said manager of Varanasi branch of the bank. The accused used to trick the less educated people into depositing them in the name of doubling or tripling the money in a short time. According to the police, the accused used to indulge in debauchery with the money of innocent people. Used to impress people with luxury vehicles along with private gunners. The Additional Superintendent of Police told that the SIT is investigating. Soon other accused will be nabbed.
